Why Suiqi exists

Reading changes people only when a sentence leaves the page and becomes something they do. Suiqi is built for that one step: from reading to living.

Vision

A world where a good sentence does not stop at admiration — it becomes a habit of character, shared quietly between neighbours in the same city.

Mission

Give every reader one clear path from a line they love to a virtue they practise daily — and a way to honour the days they kept it.

Positioning

Small, local, and unhurried: one shelf, one sentence, one virtue at a time, opened city by city.

What Suiqi is not

  • · Not a reading-notes app: a note records a thought, a Tribute changes a day.
  • · Not a conventional check-in tool: no streak counting, no punishment for a missed day.
  • · Not a social network: no follower counts, no rankings, no public scoreboard.
  • · Not a book database: the shelf is curated, and so are the sentences drawn from it.

Why no streaks

Streak counters turn practice into pressure: one missed day erases the visible proof of months of effort. Suiqi measures the proportion of days you showed up across a Tribute — action rate and completion rate — so an honest day always counts for something.
